Assembly hooded parka

Assembly camisole

Acne jeans

Acne star boots

Hermes Kelly Dog

I am absolutely loving the details of this parka by Assembly New York. I gravitated towards it because I honestly haven’t had anything camouflage since the 3rd grade, so this is makes me super giddy-also the fact that its a jacquard makes it feel like an heirloom that has been in my family for years. Hell yeah, cheers to the new Assembly Los Angeles boutique (just opened on Melrose)!

In my opinion, one of the most important pieces to have is a moto jacket. Honestly, and this sounds kind of silly…but the excitement you get when finding your dream leather is the equivalent to all of your childhood dreams of Disney Land. Ha! But, seriously though….

After you find your dream moto jacket-short or long, loose or fitted, vintage or new…you will soon realize all of your combination possibilities with this new guy!

What to wear with your moto:

1. Wear a classic pump/wedge to elevate the look (think 90’s GUESS ads)

2. If you’re more of a laid back kinda gal- pair with black cropped trousers & a pair of VANS

3. Try adding a soft-blue chambray accent to the look for a eye-catching contrast

I’d love to hear your comments on what motos or leather jackets are in your closet!

Cheers to finding the perfect one! (if you don’t already have your perfect baby)

My favorite thing about Fall (besides the pumpkin spice lattes at starbucks), is the fact that we can whip out our sweaters and outerwear that we have been longing to wear. Us Californians don’t get too much of a drastic season change, but when that Septemeber hits, we sure do get in the spirit….(or at least try anyway).

One of my key pieces in my Fall line-up is this Acne long sweater coat thingy. However you classify it, it’s the perfect weight for LA, light enough to layer, ultra cozy, and it’s a fun and eye-catching color.

What are some of your Fall must-haves?

simple pleating

(J.W. Anderson top, Acne track shorts, Mansur Gavriel bucket bag, Newbark slides)

ok ok, so I know LA is going through a major heatwave and all, but hey, doesn’t mean we can’t still dress cool and be comfortable at the same time! I know that sometimes I can get super lazy and just throw on a pair of cutoffs and a scrubby tee, hair in a messy bun and call it a day. I try not to default on doing that all the time, so I substituted the denim cutoffs for these Acne shorts, and paired them with light pleated blouse, added some chic slides, and voila! I was ready for a night on the town with my girlfriends!

How are you guys beating this heat?! What are some of your go-to pieces??

Until next time,

silk claws

(Again slip, Acne shoes, MM6 hat, Mansur Gavriel bag)

So happy that Again came out with a leopard print slip. It is the softest & silkiest material and just feels so good to put on. I dressed it down with some flats and a hat for  today, but I am totally planning on throwing my hair in a messy bun and some soft nude heels for a night out :)

Sometimes you have to step your game up with leather shorts! I scored these on super sale from Acne, so I couldn’t be more hyped.  I also feel I can pair these with some black opaque tights and a chunky grandpa cardigan for Fall. Ohhh the possibilities <3

american legacy

(Band of Outsiders jacket, Acne double black jeans, Coach Melody booties, Jerome Dreyfuss bag)

Hey guys! I have some pent up news which I have been dying to share with you. Last month, and Coach picked four style bloggers, including myself, to showcase Coach’s fresh new fall shoe collection. We were each given a styling challenge to coincide with fashion week.  Now that we are in midst of all the shows, we were asked to style our respective shoe choices exactly as we would when attending an after-show party or preview! I chose the “Melody booties” because they are not only a killer wedge, but they are a versatile boot that every woman should have in her fall and winter wardrobe. The sleek black leather and tiny delicate silver hardware gives you a dramatic yet  polished look.  Even better, these booties are beyond comfortable for walking no matter where: New York, Paris, London, Milan or wherever you may be!
Thank you, Jeanine!

rosy blue hue

(Acne shirt, Proenza Schouler knit shorts, Saint Laurent shoes, Celine sunnies)

Hey hey guys!
I caught the last of the golden hour today. Even though it was for a brief moment I felt so thankful to feel the warm sun on my skin. Wowzers, the sun really does wonders for the soul :)
I went for a more relaxed look today. I paired this denim shirt with my favorite knit shorts, and topped it off with velvet slippers. I can’t wait to rock these things with socks when it gets colder!
